COBOL users who have PowerCOBOL projects are advised that there is now a "migration path" to bring all your existing screens automatically into Windows Forms, and to salvage all the business rules in your current COBOL scriptlets, as code-behind for the new forms.

You can continue with COBOL or you can use a .Net language for the code-behind, and you can maintain your screens in Visual Studio on a design surface very similar to the PowerCOBOL IDE, but with many more and richer controls.

The cost works out at around $4 per screen.
